Since being established in 1906, the A.G. Williams Painting Company has been in search of a new painting estimation software that would help their business grow. After assessing some critical areas of need in their historic NY company, they came across Paint Scout and could not be happier with how it improved their business. 1. Making sure contracts get signed, every time!

Before using PaintScout, one issue A.G. Williams experienced was getting approved contracts signed by clients. It wasn’t consistently or efficiently done because it had to be done manually. With PaintScout, A.G. Williams is able to get contracts signed on the spot, on a tablet, or with an online signature on web proposals. 2. Better Sales Management

Before PaintScout, A.G. Williams kept track of the sales team’s performances manually, and it was quite cumbersome. Now with PaintScout, the technology tracks every sale made by individual sales reps and includes all information pertaining to the job on a well organized dashboard. George says that “the dashboard allows our team to see, in real time, sales rep’s metrics.” It is not only helpful for management to see how the sales team is doing, but PaintScout makes the job significantly easier for the sales reps themselves. George says that using PaintScout, “allows for sales reps to see when a client has viewed their contract and then follow up in a timely manner.” He concludes that using PaintScout has made painting estimation more scalable for their business and allows for continued success.


3. Accountability

The ability to include pictures and videos on estimates has increased accountability between clients, sales reps, and painters. Before A.G. Williams started using PaintScout, they had a difficult time tracking specific areas of concern directly on the client’s estimates. Now, with PaintScout, the A.G. Williams’ team can insert pictures and videos directly onto the estimate, keeping everything organized and in one place. With this feature, the estimator can highlight areas of concern before, during, and after the project is completed. Overall, A.G. Williams could not be happier with PaintScout. The best part, George says, is “the fact that Paint Scout is always trying to improve and implement new ideas and functionality. They listen to the suggestions of their clients and take action.”
